Following the line of the circular economy and sustainable projects of the Magallanes Shipyard, ASMAR is developing a co-generation initiative with the company MultiEnergy. This project consists of the installation of a gas turbine that generates electricity and by taking advantage of the discharge gases, thermal energy is produced. “This allows us to be efficient from an energy point of view. The idea is to install two turbines in the Shipyard and we hope to achieve it this year as well, so we have important challenges ahead in this matter”, explained the Administrator of ASMAR Magallanes, CN Gonzalo Mitrovich.
