We build since 1962

It all started with a small waterboat until it reached important high seas vessels, such as the multipurpose patrol boat “Thor” for the Icelandic Coast Guard Service or the OPV “Marinero Fuentealba” for the Chilean Navy. Each one of the ships delivered to our national and foreign clients attest to the success of shipbuilding in ASMAR and in the country.

An Icebreaker ship, our most important current project

In our ASMAR Talcahuano Shipyard, the most important shipbuilding project in Chile and the largest in the history of ASMAR is being developed. This is the first vessel of its kind built in the South Pacific, which will allow logistics, search and rescue operations, scientific research and resupply of Chilean scientific bases and stations in Antarctica to be carried out.
