ASMAR has developed a program of good Corporate Governance practices that, although not mandatory, reflect the commitment of the Board of Directors and the company to continue an efficient and transparent management.
For this, the Board of Directors has arranged a series of measures and actions, which are aligned with the Company’s Strategic Planning and are reflected in the preparation and execution of a plan for the implementation of good practices, establishing goals and those responsible for their compliance, which are part of the collaboration agreement between the Undersecretary of Defense and the SEP (Chilean Public Enterprise System).
As part of this policy, the Corporate Governance Unit was created in ASMAR, in charge of managing and supervising the implementation of the processes that allow establishing, throughout the company, the guidelines that ensure compliance with the best governance standards, transmitting to the entire organization, through the corresponding managers and heads, the ethical leadership that emanates from the Board of Directors with a sense of corporate responsibility, thus contributing to the fulfillment of ASMAR’s mission.
