In ASMAR, we have the challenge of becoming a benchmark at the Ibero-American level and that requires us to adapt with agility, effectiveness, proactivity and innovation to a changing environment, in order to achieve results in a responsible and efficient manner. More than 60 years of history

On April 6, 1960, ASMAR – Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada, was created as a state-owned autonomous company, being the continuation of the Navy’s Arsenals.

Strategic for Defense

ASMAR is a Chilean State-owned autonomous company, in the area of the naval and defense industry, whose main activity is to carry out the maintenance and repair of the Chilean Navy’s units, as well as the building of ships and naval crafts.
